Investment Philosophy

Mission

The mission of the Moeller Group is to help clients be good stewards of capital. We advocate a tangible approach for clients seeking to preserve and increase wealth. The organizing principle of all Tangible Return Strategy accounts is that investors, either now or in the future, seek a rising stream of investment income.

Asset Allocation

We will design an appropriate asset allocation after a personalized review of specific goals, income needs, and risk tolerance. Diversification among a variety of asset classes will be emphasized including cash alternatives, fixed income, equities, real estate, commodities, and alternative investments.

Investment Process

Our investment process is oriented toward downside resilience, lower volatility, and consistent returns over full market cycles. We follow a contrarian, value oriented discipline that is emphasized in asset selection. Concerning equity selection, we focus on high quality, dividend growth companies of all market capitalizations and geographic locations. Concerning fixed income, we have a disciplined approach of laddering maturities seeking to provide income and stability with the emphasis on limiting interest rate risk and preserving principal. Securities will be sold if they are considered to be selling at a significant premium to intrinsic value or if the fundamentals deteriorate and greater dividend growth can be found elsewhere.

Dividends are not guaranteed and are subject to change or elimination. Investing in fixed income securities involves certain risks such as market risk if sold prior to maturity and credit risk. All fixed income investments may be worth less than original cost upon redemption or maturity.
